Ranbir-Deepika's YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI: First tryst with adulthood!
If life is about dreams, ambition, hope, disappointments, options,
eagerness, fear, travel, the first day at work, sleepless nights,
family, laughter, music, dance, friendship and love, then Ayan Mukerji's
next YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI is a spirited cocktail of all these!
According to the director, a person's journey from the age of 21 to
30 has shades of all kinds. But there's something about one's first
tryst with adulthood, which is particularly powerful. It has a kind of
rawness, says Ayan, where one has no way of knowing what lies ahead and
it's that craziness of youth that has been captured in the trailer of
the much talked about movie YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, which will be
unveiled by the makers today at the grand event organised.
The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin
and Aditya Roy Kapur, is a story of four characters in their youth. From
their carefree laughter, as they set off on a holiday together during
their college days, to the bittersweet tears as they watch the first of
their bunch getting married, the film is an effort to showcase the
spirit of their lives.
